here’s an improv i did

let me go down to the hold out i’ll convince you to stick around 

leading past the mines and getting through your ties and letting go of blame, it was placed, you got lost, then were saved and found a cause but you won’t stay

i left the town and i caved in to further things, i let my heart break 

it’s not like me to go, so i won’t 

i’ll teach you all the things you missed in school when you were running away from me

i’d hoped some things would stay the same but it’s always changing 

maybe this time i’ll go the right way and if you catch the signals i throw your way

we’ll learn to divide our time and get over why i lied 

you’ll get over it if you leave my side this time
